The 'DAYLIGHT ZOMBIES CLUB'
has been running for the past 18 months or so.
Founded and hosted monthly, by Margy & Norman
Finlay, an afternoon of top entertainment,
featuring some of the regions top buskers, is held on the
last Tuesday of each month,
at Lindisfarne Club, Wallsend.
Starting around 3pm and running until 8pm
in the evening, everyone is made welcome to bring their
instrument and play a few numbers in front of an
attentive audience. The musicians who turn up, change
monthly so each month varies greatly. There's been some
marvellous combinations of players , just getting up and
jammin' along together!
The 'backline' is usually supplied by the the 'sound',
sound guy Ray Macdonald, so you're in
good hands soundwise. So, pop in to play, or indeed, just
have a drink or two and listen to some great music!
Everyone welcome!... and don't forget a couple of quid
for the 'daft raffle'!The next Daylight Zombies

24th February starting around 3pm.

The 'Zombies Club'
has been branching out, hosting the odd 'big' gig at the Lindisfarne
Club. In recent months, STAN
with Paul 'Big Red' Randall,
The Danny Needham Explosion rocked the
packed concert room with Brian Hume & Ian
McDonald.
Tubesnake played to a full lounge, as
was with a semi-acoustic afternoon with 'Big Red'
with Julia & Tommy Stead.
Decembers 'Zombies afternoon' was moved back a day and
held on New Years Eve, with the 'Zombies buskers'
warming up the packed concert room crowd before Russ
Tippins played as the clock ticked toward 2026.
Look out for some exciting 'big gigs' coming up, and a
weekend festival later on in the year.
Next planned gig is Smokin' Gun with
guests Archie Brown & Colin Burrows,
on March 29th. |

With the success of the
'Daylight Zomies Buskers' afternoon and a good
showing of support at the 'big gigs' the
club has put on over the last few month, organisers Margy
& Norman have put together a two
day/two room festival, to be held
in November 2026.
'ZOMBIE FEST' is being held over the
weekend of
7th & 8th November 2026 at Lindisfarne
Club, Wallsend.
Featuring some of the countrys finest bands and musicians
along with some of our the top artistes from the North
East the festival will be held across two rooms.... the
concert room holding the bigger rock/blues acts, while in
the lounge the more acoustic/solo acts will entertain.
