Due to the great turn out of music lovers, The Daylight Zombies Buskers afternoons are now held
in the concert room of Lindisfarne Club.
NO funding, is given (apart from the lend of the room), and they're indeed, some running costs that go along with hosting the event. ...(Hence, the 'daft raffle').
And, with the 'Zombies' branching out and putting on ticketed 'big gigs', even more funding is required to attract the artistes, and to help stage these events, keeping music alive in the North Tyneside.
Any small profit (if any!) is put back in the pot, and toward the next event.

The 'DAYLIGHT ZOMBIES CLUB' has been running since June 2024.
Founded and hosted monthly, by Margy & Norman Finlay, an afternoon of top entertainment, featuring some of the regions top musicians, is held on the last Tuesday of each month, at Lindisfarne Club, Wallsend.
Starting around 3pm and running until 8pm in the evening, everyone is made welcome to bring their instrument and play a few numbers in front of an attentive audience. The musicians who turn up, change monthly so each month varies greatly. There's been some marvellous combinations of players, just getting up and jammin' along together!
The 'backline' is usually supplied by the 'sound', sound guy Ray Macdonald, so you're in good hands sound-wise. So, pop in to play, or indeed, just have a drink or two and listen to some great music! Everyone welcome!...
...and don't forget a couple of quid for the 'daft raffle'!

The 'DAYLIGHT ZOMBIES CLUB' celebrated its 2nd anniversary in June,
the monthly gathering continues to attract more followers and new players, every time giving each 'gig' an unique feel. The next buskers afternoon is
Tuesday 28th July starting around 3pm.

The 'Zombies Club' has been branching out, hosting the odd 'Big Gig' at the Lindisfarne Club. The first being STAN with Paul 'Big Red' Randall, opening the proceedings.
The Danny Needham Explosion rocked the packed concert room with Brian Hume & Ian McDonald supporting at gig number 2.
Tubesnake played to a full lounge, at gig number 3 in November, and Bad Bob Bates played a great semi-acoustic afternoon set with 'Big Red' with Julia & Tommy Stead at the December gig in the concert room.
Decembers 'Zombies Club afternoon' was moved back a day and held on New Years Eve, with the 'Zombies buskers' warming up the packed concert room crowd, before Russ Tippins played as the clock ticked toward 2026.

Smokin' Gun with guests Archie Brown & Colin Burrows, on March 29th was a huge success kicking off the 'Big Gigs' of 2026.
The Flames played a terrific support slot to another crackin' gig with The Danny Needham Explosion in April.
May was the Zombies/Viva eSTANa festival out in Gran Alacant...
...a huge success!

5th July, saw a return of Paul 'Big Red' Randal warming up the audience for an afternoon of Led Zeppelin & AC/DC from LZ/DC..

With continued support more 'big gigs' will hopefully be coming up, throughout the rest of 2026 and a terrific weekend festival later on in the year.

With the success of the 'Daylight Zomies Buskers' afternoon and a good showing of support at the 'big gigs' the club has been putting on over the last few months, organisers Margy & Norman have put together a two day/two room festival, to be held in November 2026.
'ZOMBIE FEST' is being held over the weekend of
7th & 8th November 2026 at Lindisfarne Club, Wallsend.
Featuring some of the countrys finest bands and musicians, along with some of our the top artistes from the North East, the festival will be held across two rooms.... the concert room holding the bigger rock/blues acts, while in the lounge the more acoustic/solo acts will entertain.
